Community Insights is the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s LGBTQ+ research panel. It brings together LGBTQ+ people across the United States to share their experiences through surveys that help inform research, advocacy, and inclusive practices.
The panel is open to LGBTQ+ adults (18+) living in the United States. We aim to reflect the full diversity of LGBTQ+ communities across identities, backgrounds, and experiences.
By participating, you help ensure LGBTQ+ voices are represented in research that shapes policy, programs, and how organizations and institutions serve our communities. Your input contributes to real-world impact.
After signing up, you’ll receive invitations to participate in surveys. You can choose which surveys to take. Most surveys take about 10–15 minutes and focus on issues affecting LGBTQ+ lives.
Survey invitations vary depending on current research needs, but most participants receive occasional invitations throughout the year. We are intentional about managing the number of invitations we send so participants are not overburdened. You are never required to take a survey that you have been sent.
